Physical abuse, neglect and injury

Unfortunately, at some point during your life you may become or have been a victim of a crime of violence.

This could affect you either physically or psychologically and be the result of an act of violence by someone you know or by an unknown assailant.

Some victims have suffered abuse whilst in the care of others, for example, in a care home as a child.

If you or a member of your family have been the victims of either a crime of violence or abuse, please feel free to contact us now so that we can support and help you through the process of obtaining compensation either through the criminal injuries compensation authority (CICA) or against individual institutions.

Applications to the CICA must be submitted within 2 years of the date of incident so please contact us as soon as you are able.
