MRSA and other hospital infections
At some point in your life either yourself or a relative could find themselves in hospital and may become vulnerable to contracting infections.
Both MRSA and clostridium difficile (c.diff) are two widely recognised infections that can spread to others. MRSA and c.diff need to be adequately controlled. In some instances hospitals have failed to follow their infections control policy or failed to diagnose and treat a patient correctly following a diagnosis of MRSA or c.diff. As we know from the media, there can be occasional lapses in standards.
If you or a relative believes that you have contracted MRSA or c.diff as a result of a stay in hospital please arrange to speak to us now so that we can assess the ways in which we can provide you with help and support.
You only have a limited amount of time in which to pursue your claim. It is important that you speak with us as soon as possible.
