Shacklocks raises money for Rainbow Charity

East Midlands law firm Shacklocks came up with a novel idea this Christmas to raise money for its adopted charity, Rainbows Children's Hospice – they raffled the office reception's floral display.

The Rainbow's Children's Hospice is for children across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire with life limiting illnesses and provides respite, palliative and terminal care for the children and their families.

The huge Christmas floral display, made for Shacklocks by Mansfield Woodhouse-based florist, The Flower Pot, was won by Jane Roberts (46) who has worked for Shacklocks as a cashier in its Mansfield office for the last three years. Jane said:

“It was a brilliant idea to raffle off this beautiful floral arrangement as it lasted all over Christmas and made a wonderful centre piece on our Christmas Day dining table, plus it raised £67 for this worthwhile cause.”

The raffle was the latest fund-raising idea devised by Shacklocks for the Rainbows hospice, including its Shacklocks Walk for Rainbows which last year raised £10,000.
